Genshin Impact’s photography event, “Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log,” is a short-running challenge where you’ll have to photograph different things to collect color samples. Day 4 of the event has you focusing on “staff-wielding opponents” for your photography subjects.

Once you have one of each color sample (blue, brown, yellow, red, and purple), you can submit your photos to Lepine-Pauline in Fontaine for rewards. However, the subject matter that you can photograph changes each day, and you only have 10 film to use per day.

Once the day ends at 4 a.m. EDT, the subject matter will change and you will not be able to go back and take photos of old subjects.

Below, we explain where to find the subjects for day 4 (staff-wielding opponents) of the Genshin Impact “Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log” event.

Where to find ‘Staff-Wielding Opponents’ in Genshin Impact

There are tons of enemies that carry staffs, but notably Hilichurl Fighters, Hilichurl Guards, Hilichurl Berserkers, and Samachurls are the easiest to find. There are ton in the Guyun Stone Forest (the area the Retracing Bolide and Archaic Petra artifact domain is in), so you can head there and snap an easy 10 photos of the different enemies there.

How to get more sample colors in the ‘Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log’ event

Unfortunately, it appears to be random. Though we did get a ton of brown samples from taking photos of Hilichurls, we got at least enough samples of the other colors to be able to turn in the samples once for rewards.

The other way to get color samples quickly is have friends give you their extras — though you should send your friends your extras too, as a courtesy!
